Klazarová, Alena ; Červená, Gabriela (advisor) ; Honegrová, Barbora (referee)
Charles University Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biological and Medical Sciences Author: Bc. Alena Klazarová Supervisor: RNDr. Gabriela Červená, Ph.D. Consultant: RNDr. Eliška Rýznarová Title of thesis: Detection and identification of red blood cell antibodies in transfused patients Background: The aim of the work is a statistical evaluation of the detection of anti-erythrocyte antibodies in patients and pregnant women at the Transfusion Department in Cheb and the Transfusion Department in Karlovy Vary in the years 2021 to 2022. I focus on the frequency, type and clinical significance of antibodies, followed by the occurrence of immunization of respondents after administration transfusion and I evaluate the significance of the enzyme test. Methods: The work describes the methodologies used at the TO in Cheb during the screening examination of irregular antibodies against erythrocytes, which detect their presence in the examined plasma. Main findings: Tasks from the Rh system and a higher frequency of occurrence of the anti- Wra region were the most represented in the monitored group. The most antibodies were detected in the 60-79 age group, slightly dominated by women. A combination of specific anti- erythrocyte antibodies was detected in some respondents (22.6%). Immunization...

Hemotherapy for patients after the hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
Králová, Jana ; Matějček, Martin (advisor) ; Gašová, Zdenka (referee)
The thesis deals with the issue of application of blood products to patients after the hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. The theoretical part covers the hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, its history, possibilities and types of transplantations, examples of indication focused on tumours of childhood. The following text describes basics of hemotherapy, history of treatment by blood, types of transfusion products and matters related to the application of blood transfusion. Next section is about the specifics of hemotherapy for patients after the hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. The practical part is dedicated to the study about transfusion products administered to paediatric patients after the hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at the University Hospital in Motol. The file consists of the list of patients, who underwent the transplantation during the period from 1.1.2010 to 31.12.2012. The thesis assesses the impact of several factors on the quantities and types of administered transfusion products. The factors include gender, age, diagnosis, type of transplantation (autologous/allogeneic), type of donor (related/unrelated) and type of incompatibility of blood group in the AB0 system.
